Digital Piano Casio AP-270BN 88 Keys Oak
The Casio AP-270BN 88-key digital piano in oak finish delivers natural acoustic piano tone and responsive keyboard action in a compact cabinet. It uses Casio's Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR sound source with expanded memory to reproduce long, evolving piano tones and built-in stereo resonance simulation for realistic damper effects. Two selectable grand piano voices and Concert Play orchestral backing tracks let you adapt sound and accompaniment to different musical styles. The instrument includes a Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II with simulated ebony and ivory key surfaces for a satisfying fingertip feel, low power consumption, and USB Type-B connectivity for mobile devices.
Multi-dimensional Morphing AiR sound source with increased sampling memory produces natural attack, sustain and decay characteristics that closely emulate an acoustic grand piano. Two selectable legendary grand piano voices provide tonal options suitable for different genres and performance settings. Tri-sensor Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard II delivers responsive key timing and dynamic control, while simulated ebony and ivory key surfaces improve grip and playing comfort. Stereo damper resonance simulation reproduces the complex resonance of a damper pedal across all 88 keys. Compact cabinet with oak finish and low power consumption makes the AP-270BN suitable for home and studio use.
Place the piano on a stable surface or install it according to the included assembly instructions. Connect to power and turn on the instrument. Select one of the two grand piano voices using the instrument's voice selection controls, and adjust volume and effects as desired. Use the Tri-sensor keyboard to control dynamics by varying key attack. Engage the damper pedal to hear realistic stereo resonance; use Concert Play to play along with the built-in orchestra recordings. Connect a computer or mobile device via USB Type-B for MIDI communication or audio/MIDI integration.
For best acoustic feel, allow the piano to acclimate to room temperature before extended playing sessions and use the simulated ebony and ivory key surfaces to maintain secure fingertip contact; connect via USB for low-latency MIDI when recording or performing with digital audio workstations.
