Scientific Calculator Casio FX-82Solar II Pocket Black
Scientific Calculator Casio FX-82Solar II Pocket Black
The Casio FX-82Solar II Pocket Black is a solar-powered scientific calculator with 144 built-in functions and a clear 10+2 digit display. Compact and lightweight, it is designed for everyday school and study use and comes with a hard case for protection. The device is battery-free and has received the "Blue Angel" environmental label for equipment without batteries.
The calculator offers a broad set of mathematical capabilities including trigonometric, hyperbolic and inverse hyperbolic functions, automatic fraction calculations, percentage, random number generation and sign change. It supports conversions between sexagesimal and decimal, between polar and rectangular coordinates, and performs calculations in degrees, radians and gradians. The 18-level parentheses handling and SCI/FIX/ENG display modes simplify complex expressions and scientific notation handling.
Expose the calculator to sufficient light to power it and slide the hard case off to access the keys. Use the numeric and function keys to enter expressions; the device supports nested parentheses up to 18 levels and offers SCI/FIX/ENG modes for scientific notation. Select the desired angle unit (degree, radian or gradian) before performing trigonometric calculations. Use dedicated keys for fraction and coordinate conversions and the random number function for simulations.
Keep the calculator in well-lit conditions for reliable operation and store it in the included hard case to protect the keypad and display. For exam or classroom use, verify allowed calculator models with the institution, as functionality requirements vary by testing authority.
