Electromagnetic lock CDVI C3S11 — 300 kg holding force, 12–24 V, IP42, 250×43×27 mm (silver)
CDVI C3S11 is an electromagnetic lock designed to secure doors and access points with a rated holding force of 300 kg. The unit is a surface-mounted maglock that operates on a 12–24 V supply and features IP42 protection against solid objects and dripping water. The compact electromagnet measures 250×43×27 mm and is supplied with an armature plate, fixing kit and fitting instructions. The lock is compatible with CDVI brackets, housings and accessories and is intended for internal doors, cabinets or light-duty exterior entrances where moderate environmental protection is sufficient.
The C3S11 offers a high holding force relative to its compact size, with no moving parts to reduce wear and maintenance needs. Its wide input voltage range (12–24 V) allows integration with common access control power supplies. Surface mounting simplifies installation on standard frames and doors, and the included armature plate and fixing kit provide the basic components required for immediate fitting. IP42 protection gives basic resistance to dust and dripping water for installations in sheltered or indoor environments.
Install the electromagnet on the door frame and the armature plate on the door leaf following the supplied fitting instructions and using the included fixing kit. Connect the lock to a compatible 12–24 V DC power supply and integrate it with the access control system or relay output used for door release. Verify secure alignment between the magnet face and armature plate before finalizing fixings to ensure full holding force. After installation, test electrical connections and the locked/unlocked operation under normal conditions.
Use the C3S11 on internal doors or sheltered external entrances where IP42 protection is adequate. For full weather exposure or high-security applications, consider higher IP-rated or higher holding-force alternatives. Ensure a stable 12–24 V DC supply and proper bracketry for reliable operation, and schedule periodic checks of alignment and electrical connections as part of routine maintenance.
