Measuring tool Cellfast Ūdens līmeņrādis 25m — 25 m measuring water level
Cellfast Ūdens līmeņrādis 25m — 25 m measuring water level is a portable hydraulic level tool designed to transfer horizontal references and check elevation differences across distances up to 25 meters. The device consists of a flexible transparent hose filled with liquid and two clear, unbreakable measuring cylinders with millimetre scales. It enables establishing the same water level at two or more points without relying on electronic sensors, making it suitable for outdoor and indoor site work where simple, reliable leveling is required.
The measuring water level provides accurate height transfer across obstacles and around corners where line-of-sight instruments are impractical. Its transparent hose and marked cylinders allow direct visual reading of level differences with millimetre resolution. The unit is fully mechanical and does not require power, batteries, or calibration, which reduces maintenance and downtime. The 25 m hose length covers typical landscaping, construction and plumbing tasks, while the unbreakable cylinders improve durability during transport and on-site use.
Place one measuring cylinder at the reference point and the other at the target point, ensuring the hose is filled with liquid and free of air pockets. Hold both cylinders upright and allow the liquid to settle until stable. Read the liquid level on each millimetre scale; adjust the target point until both readings match or compute the elevation difference from the scale readings. For multi-point transfers, move the reference cylinder as needed and repeat the process. After use, drain or secure the hose and store the cylinders to avoid damage.
Always check the hose for air bubbles before measuring and ensure both cylinders are vertical and stable. Use a clean, non-freezing liquid appropriate for the ambient temperature and avoid kinks in the hose that can trap air. For exterior use in cold conditions, protect the liquid from freezing to maintain accuracy and prevent damage.
