Sanitary Silicone Sealant CERESIT CS25 280 ml — Silver-gray (Hõbehall) 04
CERESIT CS25 sanitary silicone sealant in a 280 ml cartridge in silver-gray (shade 04) is formulated for sealing sanitary joints and bathroom connections. The neutral-acetoxy silicone provides a flexible, waterproof seal suitable for use around tiles, bathtubs, sinks and shower enclosures. It is intended for indoor applications on non-porous surfaces such as glazed ceramics, glass and enamel, where resistance to mold and long-term adhesion are required.
Sanitary silicone CERESIT CS25 offers elasticity that accommodates small movements without cracking and creates a watertight barrier that prevents moisture penetration. The silver-gray color blends with many tile and sanitary fixture tones, providing a discreet finish. The formulation includes components that reduce fungal growth on the seal surface, and the product cures to a durable, slightly elastic joint that resists aging under normal indoor bathroom conditions.
This silicone is intended for indoor sanitary use on non-porous surfaces; it is not suitable for use on porous substrates like untreated wood or certain natural stones without appropriate primers. It is also not designed for structural glazing or load-bearing joints and should not be used where high mechanical stresses or continuous submersion are expected.
Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease and old sealant residues. Cut the cartridge nozzle to the desired bead size and apply with a suitable caulking gun, maintaining steady pressure to form a continuous bead. Smooth the joint within the product's tooling time using a spatula or a wet finger to obtain a uniform finish. Allow the sealant to cure undisturbed according to ambient temperature and humidity conditions before exposing to water.
For best results, remove any mold or contaminants from the old joints before applying new silicone, and use masking tape to protect adjacent surfaces for a neat finish. Store cartridges in a cool, dry place and use within the manufacturer’s recommended shelf life. When replacing old sealant, ensure full removal to promote optimal adhesion of the new sanitary silicone.
