Sanitary Silicone Sealant CERESIT CS25 280 ml — Siena 47 color
CERESIT CS25 sanitary silicone sealant in 280 ml cartridge, colour Siena 47, is formulated for sealing joints and connections in wet-room environments. The product provides an elastic, water-resistant barrier between ceramic tiles, sanitary fixtures and fittings, and other common bathroom and kitchen materials. It is intended for indoor use where long-term resistance to moisture and biological growth is required.
The silicone offers elastic movement accommodation and maintains adhesion to typical bathroom substrates. It features water-resistant and mold-inhibiting properties to reduce visible discoloration and deterioration in humid conditions. The cartridge format allows controlled dispensing and accurate joint filling, while the Siena 47 colour is matched to warm beige-brown tile palettes for a discreet finish.
This sanitary silicone is intended for indoor use on typical bathroom and kitchen substrates and may not be suitable for structural joints, continuous outdoor exposure, or applications requiring paintability with conventional paints. It may not bond reliably to certain plastics, polyethylene, polypropylene, or surfaces contaminated with oils or release agents without appropriate surface preparation or primers.
Ensure joint surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease and old sealant residues. Cut the cartridge nozzle to the desired bead size and apply with a standard caulking gun. Smooth the bead with a suitable tool or wetted finger within the product's skin formation time to achieve uniform contact with both joint faces. Allow the sealant to cure fully before exposing the joint to continuous water contact; curing time varies with joint width, ambient temperature and humidity.
For best results, apply at temperatures recommended by the manufacturer, prepare joints by removing contaminants, and tool the sealant promptly to ensure adhesion and a smooth finish. Replace sealant that shows signs of permanent staining or loss of elasticity.
