Grout CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic elastic waterproof, color ceglasta, 2 kg
Grout CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic elastic waterproof, color ceglasta, 2 kg
CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic elastic waterproof grout in ceglasta (brick) color is formulated for filling tile joints where flexibility and water resistance are required. Supplied as a 2 kg ready-to-mix package, this grout is suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, offering an elastic finish that adapts to small substrate movements while protecting seams from moisture ingress. The mortar is intended for use on floors, walls, and wet areas such as bathrooms, kitchens and balconies where durable, color-stable jointing is needed.
The grout combines elasticity with waterproof properties to reduce the risk of cracking in tiled joints exposed to thermal or structural movement. Its ceglasta (brick) color provides consistent, long-lasting appearance that complements clay and terracotta tones. The product is supplied in a convenient 2 kg format for smaller repairs and installations, and it is formulated to resist moisture penetration, making it appropriate for wet rooms and external terraces where damp conditions occur.
This grout is designed for tile joints where elasticity and water resistance are required, but it may not be the best choice for very wide joints beyond the manufacturer’s recommended joint width or for structural movement exceeding the product’s elasticity limits. It is also not intended as a substitute for waterproofing membranes or for load-bearing repairs where specific structural mortars are required.
Prepare a clean, dry joint free of dust, loose material and old grout residues. Mix the powder with the recommended amount of clean water until a homogeneous, lump-free paste is obtained. Apply the grout using a rubber float or suitable tool, pressing the material firmly into the joints and removing excess from the tile surface. After initial set, clean tile residues with a damp sponge and finish the joint surface as required. Allow the grout to cure according to ambient conditions before exposing it to water or heavy loads.
For best results, follow manufacturer mixing ratios and application temperature ranges. Use appropriate personal protective equipment, work in well-ventilated conditions, and perform a small test area to confirm color and adhesion before full application.
