Grout CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic waterproof flexible grout, white, 2 kg
Grout CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic waterproof flexible grout, white, 2 kg is a ready-mixed jointing compound formulated for filling and sealing joints between ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles. Supplied in a 2 kg package and finished in white, this grout combines water-repellent properties with elasticity to reduce the risk of cracking and staining in wet and humid environments.
This white flexible grout offers waterproof performance that helps prevent water penetration into tile joints. Its elasticity accommodates minor substrate movement and thermal expansion, decreasing the likelihood of hairline cracks. The ready-to-use consistency simplifies application and limits dust compared with powdered grouts, while the smooth white finish provides a clean, uniform appearance and resists common household moisture exposure.
This product is intended for standard tile jointing and is not a structural adhesive or replacement for flexible sealants used at movement joints between different materials. It may be unsuitable where very wide joints, continuous heavy mechanical loads, or prolonged immersion are expected—specialized epoxy or polyurethane grouts and sealants are better choices for those conditions.
Ensure tile surfaces and joints are clean, dry and free of dust, adhesive residues and loose material. Open the ready-mixed tub and stir if necessary to achieve a uniform consistency. Apply the grout with a rubber float, pressing it firmly into joints and removing excess from the tile faces. After initial setting, clean residual grout film from tile surfaces with a damp sponge and allow joints to cure according to ambient temperature and humidity. Avoid heavy traffic or prolonged water exposure until the grout has fully set.
For best results apply at moderate temperatures and relative humidity; protect newly grouted areas from direct water exposure for the initial curing period and follow tile and substrate manufacturer guidelines for movement joints and expansion gaps.
