Grout CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic waterproof flexible, silver-gray, 2 kg
CERESIT CE 40 Aquastatic in silver-gray is a flexible, waterproof grout intended for filling joints between ceramic tiles and similar coverings. Supplied in a 2 kg package, the grout is formulated to resist moisture penetration and reduce staining in frequently wet environments. It is suitable for use on walls and floors where reliable joint sealing and some movement accommodation are required, such as bathrooms, showers and kitchens.
The grout combines water resistance with flexibility to limit crack formation when substrates undergo minor movements. Its silver-gray color provides a neutral finish that complements many tile shades while helping to conceal light dirt. The composition improves joint durability and reduces the risk of moisture-driven degradation in tiled areas exposed to splashes and humidity.
The product is not intended for use as a structural adhesive or for filling very wide or heavily moving joints; very large gaps require appropriate joint fillers or movement joints. It is formulated for interior tiled areas and may not be appropriate for continuous outdoor exposure or for substrates that remain submerged in water for prolonged periods.
Prepare joint surfaces by ensuring they are clean, dry and free of dust, adhesive residues and contaminants. Mix the powder with the recommended amount of clean water to obtain a homogeneous, lump-free mortar with the consistency indicated in the manufacturer's instructions. Apply the grout with a rubber float, pressing material into joints to fully compact and fill the gap, then remove excess grout from tile faces. After initial set, clean tiles with a suitable damp sponge and perform final finishing when the grout has stiffened. Follow drying and curing times given by the producer before allowing full exposure to water.
Store the product in a dry place before use and follow the manufacturer's instructions for mixing ratios, working time and curing. For best results on wet areas, respect recommended curing times before exposing joints to water and use appropriate maintenance to preserve grout appearance and waterproofing performance.
