Needle-nose pliers Cimco 10 0214
The Cimco 10 0214 needle-nose pliers are designed for precision work and for use in demanding daily tasks. Made from high-alloy steels with PU plastic handle sleeves in a two-component ergonomic design, these 160 mm pliers combine fine tip access with durable construction and insulating handle coverings. All metal parts undergo oil-bath hardening and the cutting edges receive additional induction hardening to ensure wear resistance and precise cutting performance.
Precisely closing, induction-hardened jaws (approx. 64 HRC) deliver reliable cutting performance even on hard wires. The nearly clearance-free joint ensures smooth, uniform opening and closing across the entire working range. Special conical gripping surfaces and uniform serration provide secure holding of common workpieces. Handles feature non-slip, skin-tolerant material with resistance to sweat, oils, salts and UV; the pliers are manufactured in Germany using robot-supported production processes. Selected Diamant-Plus models include 1000 V protective insulation and are tested according to VDE/IEC standards.
Hold the pliers by the insulated handle sleeves and position the fine tips onto the component or wire to be gripped or cut. Use the joint to open and close smoothly; apply steady pressure for cutting and a controlled grip when handling small parts. For cutting, place the wire fully against the induction-hardened blade and close the handles in one steady motion. After use, keep the tool clean and store it in a dry place to preserve the cutting edges and insulation.
For electrical work requiring protective insulation, verify the specific pliers variant is marked and tested for 1000 V according to VDE/IEC standards before applying live-voltage work. Regularly inspect the insulation and cutting edges for damage; damaged insulated tools must not be used on live circuits.
