Needle-nose pliers Cimco 10 0216
Needle-nose pliers Cimco 10 0216 are precision hand tools designed for work in confined spaces and for handling small components. At 200 mm length, these pliers combine long reach with a robust, shock-resistant construction and two-component plastic handles that provide a secure grip. Manufactured from high-alloy tool steels with controlled hardening processes, the Cimco 10 0216 is intended for professional and DIY use where accurate gripping, bending and cutting are required.
The pliers are made from high-alloy steels with oil-bath hardening and additional induction hardening on the cutting edges, delivering high durability and cutting performance (approx. 64 HRC on the blades). Precision-ground, nearly clearance-free joint ensures smooth opening and closing across the working range. Special conical gripping surfaces and uniform serration improve grip on common workpieces. The tool includes safety insulation tested to 1000 V according to VDE/IEC standards and comes from a production process with robot-supported forging, grinding and dielectric testing to maintain consistent quality.
Hold the Cimco 10 0216 by the ergonomic two-component handles and position the needle-nose tips around the component or wire. For gripping and bending, apply steady controlled force while using the conical gripping surfaces to maximise contact. For cutting, place the wire close to the induction-hardened section of the blades and apply even pressure; the favourable lever ratio reduces effort. Observe the rated insulation limits and never expose the tool to voltages above the tested 1000 V insulation rating.
Inspect the pliers before use for damage to the insulation or cutting edges. Do not use insulated pliers if the protective coating is cracked or contaminated. Clean and lightly oil moving parts after heavy use to maintain smooth joint action and store in a dry place to protect against corrosion and chemical attack.
