Hole Saw Single Cimco 20 7425
The Cimco 20 7425 hole saw is a single-piece cutting tool with a 25 mm diameter and 50 mm saw length, designed for drilling clean holes up to 40 mm deep. It features a variable tooth pitch of 4–6 teeth per inch and an M16 holder thread; additional driver holes are provided from 32 mm diameter. The saw is suitable for use on steel, cast iron, stainless steel, copper, non-ferrous metals, hard and soft wood, gypsum boards (Rigips) and similar materials.
The variable tooth pitch reduces vibration during cutting, improving hole quality and tool stability. The M16 holder thread ensures secure attachment to compatible arbors, while the 50 mm saw length and 40 mm maximum drilling depth provide a balance between reach and controlled cutting. Additional driver holes from 32 mm diameter simplify removal and retention of the workpiece.
Mount the hole saw onto a compatible arbor with an M16 thread and secure it to the drill. For diameters of 32 mm and larger, use the additional driver holes if required for centring or extraction. Position the pilot or guide bit on the marked drilling point, start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed and feed steadily while applying even pressure. Use appropriate cutting fluid when drilling metals and clear chips regularly to avoid overheating. Do not exceed the 40 mm effective drilling depth.
Use cutting lubricant for metal work, clamp the workpiece securely, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment. Choose drill speeds suitable for the material: lower speeds for hard metals, higher speeds for wood. Inspect the teeth before use and replace the saw if teeth are worn or damaged.
