Hole Saw Single Cimco 208772
The Cimco 208772 hole saw is designed for drilling clean, accurate holes in brick and sandstone. With an outer diameter of 82 mm, this single-piece hole saw combines durable construction with a tooth geometry optimised for cutting into porous masonry materials. The tool is intended for use with compatible drill or drill press arbors and delivers consistent performance for installation, repair and construction tasks where reliable masonry drilling is required.
This hole saw offers high wear resistance in abrasive masonry thanks to its sturdy construction and optimized cutting edge. The single-piece design reduces the risk of loosening components and simplifies mounting on standard arbors. Its diameter provides a balance between a wide cutting opening and good control during drilling, while the tooth design helps clear debris for more efficient cutting in brick and sandstone.
Select an appropriate arbor and secure the hole saw to the drill according to the arbor manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the centre of the hole on the masonry surface and, if available, use a pilot bit to start a guide hole or an assistant centering tool. Position the hole saw perpendicular to the work surface, apply steady moderate pressure and run the drill at a suitable speed for masonry cutting. Periodically withdraw the hole saw to clear accumulated dust and debris and to cool the cutting edge. After completing the cut, remove any remaining loose material from the hole and inspect the edge for burrs before installing fittings or pipes.
When drilling in brick or sandstone, use a drill with sufficient torque and, if possible, a low to moderate speed setting. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection and a dust mask. For prolonged or deep cuts, pause regularly to clear debris and allow the tool to cool; using water for cooling is not recommended unless the arbor and drill are rated for wet use.
