Educational robot Clementoni Robot Evolution 2.0 — programmable STEM toy for children

Clementoni Robot Evolution 2.0 is an educational, programmable robot kit designed to introduce children to fundamental STEM concepts. The kit combines hands-on assembly with basic programming exercises so that learners gain a practical understanding of robotics, sensors and actuator interaction. Intended for both classroom and home use, Robot Evolution 2.0 supports progressive learning through guided activities and open-ended experimentation that develop logical thinking, problem solving and motor skills.

Advantages

The kit provides a structured learning path that moves from mechanical assembly to simple code-based control, helping children connect theoretical ideas to real-world behavior. Components are sized and engineered for safe handling by young users, and the modular design allows repeated disassembly and modification for further exploration. The programmable interface encourages iterative learning: children can test, observe results and refine their solutions while gaining confidence with technology and basic engineering principles.

Suitable for

• STEM lessons in primary and middle school classrooms
• After-school clubs and coding workshops
• Home learning and educational playtime
• Hands-on projects teaching mechanics, sensors and programming basics

Key specifications

• Type: programmable educational robot kit for children
• Learning focus: robotics, basic programming, logical thinking and problem solving
• Assembly: hands-on kit with modular mechanical components
• Control: simple programmable interface suitable for beginners
• Use environment: suitable for classroom and home use

How to use

Begin by following the assembly instructions to build the robot chassis and attach sensors and motors. After assembly, connect the robot to the included programming environment or app and work through the guided exercises to learn control commands and sensor responses. Start with basic movement and sensor-triggered actions, then progress to sequencing tasks and simple conditional logic. Encourage testing and incremental adjustments to code and configuration to observe cause-and-effect and reinforce learning outcomes.

Usage recommendations

Use on a flat, stable surface and supervise younger children during assembly and battery installation. Pair guided lessons with open-ended challenges to balance structured learning and creative experimentation. Regularly inspect mechanical connections and sensors for wear and replace batteries as needed to ensure consistent performance.
