DisplayPort to HDMI Cable CLUB3D CAC-1082 2m
The CLUB3D DisplayPort 1.4 to HDMI 2.0b HDR Cable (2m) is a signal converter cable that connects a DisplayPort-equipped source to an HDMI display. It supports DisplayPort 1.4 input and an HDMI 2.0b output, providing compatibility for video playback up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz. The cable supports HDR content and deep color formats when the source and display both support the required standards. The compact, lightweight black design and 2 m length make it suitable for desktop and AV setups where a reliable DP-to-HDMI connection is required.
The cable supports UHD 4K resolution at 60 Hz and HDR video, with color depths up to 16 bits per channel (48 bits per pixel) when bandwidth allows. It performs pixel encoding conversion and can convert RGB or YCbCr 4:4:4 to YCbCr 4:2:0 for HDMI output, enabling deep color HDR at 4K60 through DisplayPort 1.4 link compression to HDMI 2.0b. It is compliant with common EMI and safety standards, has a lightweight construction (approx. 0.085 kg), and comes in a compact package that is easy to store and transport.
This passive signal converter requires a source that supports DisplayPort 1.4 and a display that supports HDMI 2.0 (or 2.0b) and HDR for full HDR and deep color functionality. If either source or display lacks the necessary standards, HDR or maximum color depth may not be available. The cable does not add features beyond the protocol conversion—advanced features requiring HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, higher than 4K60 refresh rates, or specialized return channel functions are not supported.
Connect the DisplayPort 1.4 end of the cable to the DP output on your computer, laptop, or graphics card and plug the HDMI 2.0 end into the HDMI input of your monitor or TV. Configure the display settings on the source device to the desired resolution and refresh rate (for example, 3840 x 2160 or 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz). Enable HDR in the source and display settings where applicable; note that HDR will only function if both the source and display support the necessary standards. No external power or drivers are required for basic video signal conversion.
For best results, use with a DisplayPort 1.4 source and an HDMI 2.0b-capable display. If HDR is required, enable HDR in both the source and display menus and verify cable seating at both ends. Avoid sharp bends and excessive strain on the cable to preserve signal quality over time.
