Active Adapter USB3.2 Gen1 Type-C to Dual Link DVI-D CLUB3D CAC-1510
The Club 3D CAC-1510 is a compact USB Type-C to DVI adapter that converts a USB 3.1 Type-C (with DisplayPort Alternate Mode) input to either Dual Link DVI-I or Single Link DVI output. It is powered by the USB-C port and does not require an external power source, making it suitable for use with modern notebooks, Ultrabooks and other USB-C devices that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode.
This adapter supports Dual Link DVI-I for resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and Deep Color 12-bit, providing a higher-resolution option for DVI-enabled monitors and projectors. Its compact, portable design and bus-powered operation simplify connections without extra cables or power adapters. The adapter is compatible with recent devices such as Apple MacBook Pro, MacBook, Google Chromebook Pixel and other USB-C devices that implement DisplayPort Alternate Mode.
Connect the adapter's USB Type-C plug to a USB-C port on your source device that supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Attach a DVI cable from the adapter's DVI output to the monitor or projector. The adapter will draw power from the USB-C port and should be recognized by the connected display automatically. Refer to the display settings on your computer to select the appropriate resolution and color depth.
Check your device's user manual to confirm that the USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode. Use a Dual Link DVI cable when you need resolutions above standard single-link limits. For optimal results, set the output resolution to 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz when supported by both the display and source device.
