WiFi USB adapter Comfast CF-924AC-V2 1300Mbps dual-band 2.4GHz/5GHz
Comfast CF-924AC-V2 is a USB WiFi adapter that provides dual-band wireless connectivity with combined speeds up to 1300 Mbps. The adapter uses a USB 3.0 interface for higher data throughput while remaining backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 ports. Its compact black housing includes a 180° rotating antenna and a dust-resistant design with improved heat dissipation to maintain signal stability for laptops and desktops.
The adapter supports both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands to balance range and performance, and its USB 3.0 connection increases transfer efficiency compared with older USB standards. A rotating external antenna boosts reception and transmission through obstacles, and the Realtek RTL8812BU chipset provides broad protocol support and common wireless encryptions for secure connections.
Insert the adapter into an available USB 3.0 port on your computer (USB 2.0/1.1 ports are supported but with lower throughput). Install drivers from the included CD or download the latest drivers from the manufacturer if your system requires updated software. After installation, use the operating system’s network manager to scan for and connect to a wireless network, selecting the appropriate 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz SSID and entering the network password if required.
For best performance, connect the adapter to a USB 3.0 port and orient the 180° antenna to reduce obstructions between the adapter and the router. Use the 5 GHz band when higher throughput and lower interference are needed, and 2.4 GHz when longer range or better wall penetration is required. Keep drivers updated and avoid operating the adapter in environments exceeding the specified temperature and humidity ranges.
