Concox Vehicle GPS Tracker OBDII VG502 is an OBD-II plug-in GPS tracker that combines real-time GNSS positioning and vehicle diagnostics in a compact module. The device plugs directly into a vehicle’s OBD-II port, providing position data via GPS + BDS, reading OBD vehicle diagnostic parameters, and sending alerts for events such as device removal, overspeed, ignition state changes, and geofence breaches. VG502 includes driving behavior analysis based on a UBI algorithm and supports Bluetooth BLE 4.0 for extended accessory connectivity. A nano-SIM with mobile data is required (SIM not included).

How to use

Insert a nano-SIM with an active data plan into the VG502, then plug the device into the vehicle’s OBD-II port (usually located under the dashboard). After power-up the tracker acquires satellite signals and transmits location and diagnostic data to the selected tracking platform. Configure alerts, geofences and driving behaviour detection through the compatible platform or mobile app (Tracksolid compatibility has been validated). Regularly check device status and platform settings to ensure uninterrupted data transmission.

Usage recommendations

For reliable operation, use a mobile data plan with stable GPRS/TCP-IP connectivity and keep the OBD-II connector free of debris. Ensure the vehicle’s OBD-II port supplies power in the intended usage scenario (some vehicles cut power to the OBD port when ignition is off). Test geofence and alert settings after installation and periodically verify firmware and platform compatibility for optimal diagnostics and tracking performance.
