Brass compression elbow Conex 15x15 mm, model EE-1020401
Conex brass compression elbow 15x15 mm (model EE-1020401) is a right-angle fitting designed to connect two 15 mm plumbing pipes without soldering. Made of brass with compression fittings, this elbow provides a mechanical, leak-resistant joint for water supply and heating systems. It is suitable for use with copper, plastic-coated copper and other compatible rigid pipes in both domestic and light commercial installations.
The brass compression design eliminates the need for soldering or welding, enabling quicker installation and reducing the requirement for hot works. Brass construction offers corrosion resistance and mechanical strength for long service life. Compression fittings allow disassembly and re-use when adjustments or maintenance are needed, and the compact 90° shape saves space in tight pipe runs.
Ensure pipe ends are cut square, deburred and clean. Slide the compression nut and olive (ferrule) onto each pipe, insert the pipe fully into the elbow socket, then hand-tighten the nuts. Use an appropriate wrench to tighten the compression nuts to the manufacturer's recommended torque or until a secure, leak-free joint is achieved. After assembly, pressure-test the system according to local regulations and check for leaks at the connection.
For reliable results, use pipes with compatible outer diameters and avoid over-tightening the compression nuts. If used in concealed or difficult-to-access locations, verify the joint integrity before closing walls or panels. Follow local plumbing codes and manufacturer guidance when installing in potable water or heating systems.
