Creality 3D 3301010310 PLA Blue is a 1 kg spool of 1.75 mm polylactic acid filament formulated for general-purpose 3D printing. The filament is intended for layer-based fused filament fabrication and is compatible with Creality 3D printers as well as most desktop FDM/FFF machines that accept 1.75 mm PLA. Blue PLA offers predictable extrusion behavior, relatively low warping, and a smooth surface finish suitable for functional prototypes, models, and visual parts.
This PLA filament provides consistent diameter and good bed adhesion when standard printing settings are applied. It is easy to print at moderate nozzle temperatures, requires no heated chamber, and produces minimal odor compared with many other thermoplastics. The material is biodegradable under industrial composting conditions and is dimensionally stable for common hobby and professional applications, delivering reliable layer bonding and color uniformity across the spool.
Load the spool onto the printer’s filament holder and feed the 1.75 mm filament through the filament path to the extruder according to your printer manufacturer’s instructions. Recommended nozzle temperatures for PLA typically range from 190–220 °C; start near 200 °C and adjust based on layer adhesion and surface quality. A heated bed set to 40–60 °C or a build surface with adhesive aids bed adhesion, though many prints will adhere adequately to blue painter’s tape or PEI sheets. Print speeds of 40–60 mm/s are a common starting point; fine details may benefit from slower speeds.
Store the filament in a cool, dry place and keep it sealed in a desiccant bag when not in use to prevent moisture uptake. Dry at low temperature if excessive moisture is detected (e.g., bubbling or poor extrusion). For best results, calibrate extrusion multiplier and first-layer height, and use recommended slicing settings for PLA to achieve consistent prints.
