3D printing material Creality 3D 3301010340 PLA Grey 1 kg 1.75 mm
Creality 3D 3301010340 PLA Grey 1 kg 1.75 mm is a polylactic acid (PLA) filament designed for general-purpose 3D printing. Supplied in grey with a nominal diameter of 1.75 mm and a net weight of 1 kg, the material is suitable for a wide range of desktop FDM printers compatible with 1.75 mm filament, including Creality 3D models. PLA offers good dimensional stability, low warping, and straightforward printing characteristics that make it appropriate for prototypes, hobby parts and detailed models.
The PLA filament provides consistent extrusion and layer adhesion, enabling fine detail and surface finish on printed parts. Its low printing temperature range and reduced tendency to warp simplify bed adhesion and reduce failed prints. As a biodegradable polymer derived from renewable resources, PLA presents a lower environmental impact in comparison to some petroleum-based plastics. The grey colour gives neutral, easy-to-paint surfaces and good contrast for post-processing operations such as sanding or finishing.
Load the 1.75 mm PLA filament into your printer according to the manufacturer’s instructions for filament installation. Typical printing temperatures for PLA range from approximately 190–220 °C; adjust the nozzle temperature within this range to obtain optimal extrusion and layer bonding for your specific printer and part geometry. A heated bed set between 20–60 °C or an unheated bed with appropriate adhesion aids (such as blue tape or glue stick) can improve first-layer adhesion. Print at moderate speeds and monitor the first layers to confirm correct extrusion and bed level before proceeding with longer prints.
Store the sealed spool in a dry environment and use desiccant to minimise moisture absorption; dry the filament before printing if it shows signs of bubbling or brittle extrusion. For best results, calibrate your printer’s extrusion multiplier or flow rate, use recommended print temperatures, and allow parts to cool gradually to avoid deformation during delicate bridging or overhangs.
