Creality PETG Grey (1 kg, 1.75 mm) is a general-purpose 3D printing filament formulated for reliable extrusion and durable printed parts. Designed for use with Creality printers and widely compatible with other desktop FDM machines, this PETG offers balanced mechanical strength, chemical resistance and ease of printing for a range of functional and visual models.
The material enables faster printing speeds thanks to an optimized formula that improves melt fluidity and allows speeds up to 300 mm/s. Extrusion is smooth, reducing common defects such as stringing and nozzle adhesion, which helps capture fine details in printed parts. The filament provides high toughness and impact resistance so objects are less likely to break on impact, and it retains good chemical and environmental resistance for use in varied storage conditions.
Load the 1.75 mm PETG filament into a compatible FDM 3D printer following the printer manufacturer’s filament loading procedure. Recommended print settings typically include a nozzle temperature suitable for PETG (consult your printer or filament guidance), a heated bed to reduce warping, moderate print speeds up to the filament’s capability, and retraction settings tuned to minimise stringing. Ensure the filament spool can unwind freely and that the filament path is clear before printing.
For best results, dry the filament if it has absorbed moisture before printing and store the spool in a sealed container with desiccant. Fine-tune temperature and retraction settings on your specific printer to balance surface finish and minimal stringing. Use a brim or raft for better bed adhesion on larger parts and enable part cooling as appropriate for detail retention.
