Creality3D Ender PLA+ 1.75 mm filament in orange is a thermoplastic printing material formulated for FDM 3D printers that accept 1.75 mm filament. The PLA+ variant provides improved toughness compared with standard PLA while retaining the ease of printing associated with PLA materials. It is intended for use on Ender-series machines and other desktop printers with a 1.75 mm filament path, delivering consistent feeding, good layer adhesion and low tendency to warp for reliable prototyping, model-making and decorative parts.
PLA+ combines the printability of standard PLA with enhanced mechanical durability, offering parts that are less brittle and more resistant to minor impacts. The orange colour provides high visibility for prototypes and finished models, and the filament is formulated to feed reliably through common extruder systems used on Ender and similar printers. Users can expect reduced warping and predictable layer bonding, which contributes to dimensional consistency across prints.
Load the spool onto the printer’s filament holder and thread the filament through the extruder and Bowden tube or direct drive path until it reaches the hotend. Set nozzle temperature and bed conditions according to your printer and slicer recommendations for PLA+; start with commonly recommended nozzle temperatures for PLA+ on Ender machines and adjust as needed to improve flow and layer adhesion. Calibrate extrusion and first-layer settings, then run a small test print to confirm feeding, bed adhesion and dimensional accuracy before proceeding with larger prints.
Store the filament in a dry environment or sealed container with desiccant to minimise moisture absorption. If prints show stringing or poor layer bonding, try small adjustments to nozzle temperature, print speed and retraction settings. For best results on functional parts, evaluate mechanical performance after printing and consider annealing or design adjustments if increased heat or load resistance is required.
