Band Lock, TTL Settings and DNS over TLS provide configurable network controls for a compatible 4G router or modem. Band Lock lets you restrict the device to one or several 4G frequency bands to maintain a stable connection. TTL Settings allow manual adjustment of IPv4 TTL and IPv6 Hop Limit values to comply with ISP requirements. DNS over TLS enables encrypted DNS queries using providers such as Cloudflare, NextDNS or Google to protect DNS privacy and integrity.

Advantages

Band lock improves connection stability by forcing the device to use specific 4G bands. Manual TTL configuration ensures compatibility with ISPs that require particular TTL/Hop Limit values. Encrypted DNS (DNS over TLS) prevents passive eavesdropping and tampering of DNS requests, enhancing privacy and security without changing normal network behavior.
