Grease, CX80 CX-287 – Molybdenum Easy-Pump Grease 400 g
Grease, CX80 CX-287 – Molybdenum Easy-Pump Grease 400 g
CX80 CX-287 is a molybdenum-containing easy-pump grease supplied in a 400 g format. Formulated for lubrication of bearings, joints and moving parts, this grease provides good adhesion and wear protection typical of molybdenum-based lubricants while remaining pumpable for use with grease guns and central lubrication systems. The product is intended for workshop and industrial maintenance tasks where a long-lasting, easy-to-apply lubricant is required.
The molybdenum disulfide component improves boundary lubrication and reduces metal-to-metal contact under heavy loads. The grease has a consistency that enables easy pumping through standard grease equipment and provides persistent film strength to protect surfaces from wear and corrosion. Its adhesion properties help maintain lubrication on vertical and oscillating surfaces, and the 400 g format offers convenient handling for both portable and bench-mounted applications.
Ensure contact surfaces are reasonably clean and free of excessive old lubricant, dirt and debris before application. Fit the 400 g container to a compatible grease gun or pump and apply the grease to the lubrication points until fresh grease is visible or until the manufacturer-recommended amount for the specific component is reached. For heavily loaded points, apply at regular intervals according to operating conditions and maintenance schedules. Avoid mixing with incompatible lubricants without first confirming compatibility.
Store at moderate temperatures and protect from contamination. Follow equipment manufacturer guidelines for lubricant type and re-lubrication intervals. When changing lubricant type, purge the system where possible to prevent incompatibility issues.
