Flux-cored solder wire CYNEL Cyna 3 mm, 250 g, alloy Sn60Pb40
CYNEL Cyna flux-cored solder wire, 3 mm diameter on a 250 g spool, is a leaded tin‑lead alloy (Sn60Pb40) intended for manual soldering and repair of electrical and electronic assemblies where use of a leaded solder is acceptable. The wire contains an integrated flux core to promote wetting, reduce oxidation during heating and simplify soldering of wires, connectors and general metal joints. Its 3 mm diameter makes it suitable for medium- to heavy-duty soldering tasks where a larger solder volume is required.
The flux core reduces the need for additional surface flux, improving solder flow and joint formation while saving time during repair or assembly work. The Sn60Pb40 composition provides a reliable melting range and good mechanical strength of soldered joints. The 250 g spool format ensures a compact supply for repeated manual operations and repair tasks without frequent spool changes.
Ensure the work surfaces are clean and free of oils, oxidation or contaminants before soldering. Heat the joint evenly with an appropriate soldering iron or torch, apply the solder wire to the heated area so the alloy melts and flows into the joint, and allow the solder to wet both mating surfaces. Avoid overheating the flux core to minimize smoke and flux residues; after cooling, remove any residual flux if required by the application using suitable cleaners.
Use in well-ventilated areas and follow local regulations for handling leaded materials. For electronic assemblies where lead‑free solder is required, choose an appropriate lead‑free alternative. Store the spool in a dry environment to prevent corrosion and contamination.
