Paper Cutter Dahle 508 0.6 mm 6 sheets
The DAHLE Rotary trimmer 508 is a compact entry-level paper cutter designed for hobby and light office use. It features a 46 cm cutting length and a cutting capacity of 0.6 mm (up to 6 sheets), with a stable metal base, non-slip rubber feet and clear format lines with millimetre divisions along the cutting edge for precise alignment. The unit is lightweight (approx. 1.3 kg) and includes a self-sharpening steel rotary blade enclosed in a safety cutting head and a lower steel blade for straight, safe cuts.
The trimmer combines a sturdy metal base with non-slip feet for stability and precise format markings for straightforward alignment. Its enclosed, self-sharpening rotary blade and lower steel blade provide safe, consistent cutting, while the pressure rail with markings and automatic clamping secure the material quickly. The cutting head is easy to change and two scale bars with millimetre scales allow accurate 90° cuts. Compatible creative sets with additional heads (perforation, folding, deckle) are available for greater versatility.
Place the trimmer on a flat, stable surface. Align the material using the format lines and millimetre divisions on the base, then position it against the scale bars for a straight or 90° cut. Lower the pressure rail to hold the material, engage the automatic clamp on the cutting line if needed, and slide the rotary cutting head along the cutting edge to make a single, even cut. Replace the cutting head following the manufacturer's instructions when you need a different blade type or when maintenance is required.
Use within the specified cutting capacity (0.6 mm / up to 6 sheets) to avoid damage. Keep fingers away from the cutting edge and always use the enclosed safety head. For specialised cuts, use compatible creative sets (separate accessory) and change heads only when the tool is stationary.
