IP security camera DAHUA Panoramic IPC-EBW8600 Outdoor 3072×2048, 1.55mm lens, 185° HF/VF, vandal-proof, ceiling/wall mount
DAHUA Panoramic IPC-EBW8600 Outdoor is an IP security camera designed for wide-area surveillance and perimeter monitoring, offering 3072 × 2048 resolution from a 1/1.8" CMOS sensor and a fixed 1.55 mm panoramic lens. The camera provides up to 185° horizontal and vertical coverage with multiple dewarp modes for panoramic views, supports H.264 and MJPEG dual encoding at up to 25/30 fps, and includes Digital WDR and Day/Night (ICR) imaging to handle varied lighting conditions. The unit is built for outdoor installation with IP67 ingress protection, IK10 vandal resistance, and a vandal-proof housing suitable for ceiling or wall mounting.
The camera delivers high-resolution panoramic images that reduce the need for multiple cameras in open or wide spaces, while multiple dewarp modes allow flexible viewing and analytic workflows. Dual encoding with H.264 and MJPEG helps balance image quality and bandwidth requirements. Low-light sensitivity combined with up to 10 m infrared illumination and Digital WDR ensures usable images in mixed or low-light scenes. The combination of IP67 and IK10 ratings provides dust- and water-resistant performance and vandal resistance for reliable outdoor use.
Install the camera on a suitable ceiling or wall surface using the provided mounting points and hardware, ensuring the housing is oriented to capture the desired panoramic field of view. Connect the camera to the network via wired Ethernet and configure network settings and stream parameters through the camera web interface or the Dahua-compatible management software. Select appropriate dewarp mode(s) and enable Digital WDR or Day/Night (ICR) as needed for lighting conditions. Adjust position and manual focus during commissioning to optimize the panoramic image and analytic zones.
For best results in wide-area surveillance, mount the camera at a height and position that minimizes obstructions and provides an unobstructed panoramic view. Use dewarp modes to convert panoramic images into rectified views for monitoring or analytics and configure H.264 encoding to reduce bandwidth while preserving image detail. Regularly inspect seals and mounting hardware in exposed outdoor installations to maintain IP67 performance.
