Dahua Technology MAX18 Mesh Wireless Router is a dual-band Wi‑Fi 6 mesh router designed to deliver whole-home wireless coverage for medium and large spaces. The device uses internal omni-directional antennas and advanced mesh algorithms to reduce dead zones and maintain stable broadband access. It supports combined WLAN throughput up to 1800 Mbit/s, works with gigabit internet connections and can be managed via the WiLynk app for simplified setup and monitoring.

The router supports PPPoE and static IP as WAN connection types and can operate as a DHCP server for local address assignment.

Usage recommendations

Place additional mesh nodes in open areas between coverage gaps rather than behind large obstacles. Keep firmware updated and use WPA3-PSK where possible for improved wireless security. For best performance with gigabit internet, use wired connections to the WAN port and, where available, connect high-demand devices to the gigabit LAN ports.
