DATACOM 19" UTP 24-port CAT5E patch panel in a 1U rack format provides 24 RJ45 ports for organized cable termination and distribution in standard 19-inch racks. The panel uses unshielded (UTP) CAT5E wiring and a dual binding strip arranged as four arrays of six ports (4×6p). Its compact 1U height and included cable management rail help reduce cable clutter in server rooms, network cabinets and small to medium networks.
The panel supports data rates up to 1 Gbps and a bandwidth of 100 MHz, compatible with 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T standards. Its 24 RJ45 (8P8C) connectors and LSA/110-compatible dual binding strip simplify termination and maintenance. The black metal housing and 1U design save rack space while the supplied cable management rail facilitates tidy routing of patch cables.
Mount the panel in a standard 19" rack occupying one rack unit (1U). Terminate incoming horizontal cables on the dual LSA/110 binding strip according to standard wiring schemes for CAT5E. Plug patch cables into the front RJ45 ports to connect network devices or switches. Use the included cable management rail to route and secure patch cables, keeping cable runs organized and reducing strain on connectors.
For optimal performance, use CAT5E-certified cabling and follow proper wiring standards for pair placement and punch-down technique. Keep cable lengths within recommended limits for Ethernet and avoid sharp bends near terminating points. Regularly inspect terminations and secure cable management to maintain reliable 1 Gbps performance.
