Patch panel DATACOM 4020 — 24 ports, Cat6 UTP, black
DATACOM 4020 is a 24-port Cat6 UTP patch panel in black, intended for structured cabling systems. It provides 24 RJ45 termination points for Cat6 unshielded twisted-pair cabling and fits standard 19-inch racks, enabling organized cable management and reliable gigabit connectivity in server rooms, data centers, offices and telecom racks. The module uses a dual punch-down field compatible with both LSA and 110 tools and includes a top-side slit with a protective cover.
The patch panel supports Cat6 UTP wiring and offers 24 clearly labelled ports for straightforward identification. Its black finish integrates into typical rack environments. The dual punch-down field (LSA and 110) increases installation flexibility, while the included top slit cover protects the termination area during installation and maintenance.
Mount the DATACOM 4020 into a standard 19-inch rack using the provided mounting points. Terminate each Cat6 UTP cable on the rear punch-down blocks using either an LSA or 110 punch-down tool, following the chosen wiring scheme (T568A or T568B). Close the top slit cover after termination to protect the connection area. Route and secure patch cables to the front RJ45 ports for network connections.
For best performance, use certified Cat6 UTP cable and follow standard installation practices: maintain appropriate bend radii, avoid running parallel to power cabling, and test each port with a network cable tester to verify continuity and performance.
