BNC connector DATACOM 4401 75 Ω for 0.7 mm cable
BNC connector DATACOM 4401 is a 75 Ω crimp coaxial connector for RG59-type cable with a centre conductor diameter up to 0.7 mm. Made of metal and weighing 7 g, this male BNC (M) connector provides a standard 75-ohm interface for video, CCTV and RF signal transmission with push-and-twist coupling.
The metal construction ensures durability and reliable electrical contact. Crimp-style attachment offers a secure mechanical and electrical connection to RG59 cable with a centre conductor up to 0.7 mm. The standard 75 Ω impedance and BNC male design maintain compatibility with common video and CCTV equipment.
Prepare the RG59 cable by stripping the outer jacket and dielectric to expose the braid and the centre conductor according to the connector manufacturer's strip dimensions. Insert the connector onto the prepared cable so the centre conductor seats in the pin and the braid contacts the body. Crimp the connector using an appropriately sized crimping tool for BNC connectors to secure mechanical and electrical contact. After crimping, verify seating and connect to the mating BNC female socket with a push-and-twist action.
Use a crimping tool matched to BNC crimp ferrules and follow proper strip lengths to ensure consistent impedance and signal performance. Inspect each connection for proper seating and absence of shorts between centre conductor and braid.
