Datalogic Skorpio X5 handheld mobile computer 4.3" 800x480 4GB RAM
The Datalogic Skorpio X5 is a key-based handheld mobile computer with a 4.3" multi‑touch Gorilla Glass display (800 x 480). Designed for retail, transportation & logistics, manufacturing and healthcare, this rugged PDT combines high computational performance, multiple scan engine options and enterprise-grade wireless and battery technologies to support continuous data capture and mobile applications in demanding environments.
The Skorpio X5 offers a large, bright screen for improved readability in any lighting condition, multiple scan engine choices including a unique Mid‑Range imager, and a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU for smooth multitasking. Models with contactless charging and hot‑swappable battery technology reduce downtime and maintenance costs. The device is fully rugged with Gorilla Glass protection, IP65 rating and drop resistance up to 1.8 m.
Power on the Skorpio X5 and configure device settings using the Android interface and Google Mobile Services. Select the appropriate scan engine variant for your workflow and install required mobile applications. For continuous operations, use hot‑swappable batteries or the contactless charging model to avoid downtime. Mount the device in a belt holder when not in use and choose the keypad layout (28‑key numeric, 38‑key function or 47‑key alphanumeric) and scan key configuration that best fits your tasks.
For optimum performance in bright outdoor environments choose the high‑visibility Gorilla Glass display model; for long shifts and reduced maintenance select contactless charging and keep spare hot‑swappable batteries available. Select the Mid‑Range imager when you need reliable scanning at distances up to approximately 2 m without the cost of extra‑long range engines.
