How to use

Secure a compatible mandrel or arbor in a power drill, ensuring the shank is tightened according to the mandrel manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the centre of the required hole and, if possible, use a pilot drill to prevent wandering. Fit the hole saw onto the arbor and align the pilot bit (if present) with the marked centre. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed and apply steady pressure appropriate to the material—lighter pressure for thin metals and plastics, firmer pressure for wood and thicker metal. Periodically withdraw the cutter to clear chips and prevent overheating, and use cutting fluid when working with metals to extend tool life and improve cut quality.
