Hole saw Dedra TCT 27 mm 1/2" universal
Dedra TCT 27 mm 1/2" universal hole saw is a circular cutting tool designed to make precise 27 mm diameter openings. Equipped with tungsten carbide-tipped teeth and a 1/2" shank, this hole saw is intended for cutting round holes in a variety of materials compatible with TCT cutting edges. It is compatible with standard 1/2" arbors and most handheld drills, making it suitable for carpentry, light construction and installation tasks that require small, accurate holes.
The TCT teeth provide durable cutting performance and improved wear resistance compared with plain-steel teeth, extending tool life when used on appropriate materials. The 1/2" shank ensures secure fitting in standard drill chucks and arbors, reducing wobble during drilling and improving hole roundness. The compact 27 mm diameter is useful for creating fittings for cables, pipes and fasteners where a small, precise opening is needed.
Secure the Dedra TCT hole saw on a compatible 1/2" arbor or directly in the drill chuck, ensuring the shank is firmly clamped. Mark the center of the hole, position the pilot bit or centering point if available, and start drilling at low speed to establish the cut. Increase speed moderately while maintaining steady pressure; avoid excessive force that could overload the saw or the drill. After cutting, retract the saw and clear chips from the teeth before further use.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glasses and gloves), select drill speed suited to the work material, and apply light cooling or intermittent cutting when working on abrasive or hard wood composites. Do not use the hole saw on materials unsuited for TCT teeth such as hardened steel or masonry.
