Hole Saw, Dedra Otwornica TCT 133 mm 5/8" (model 08X133)
Dedra Otwornica TCT 133 mm 5/8" is a tungsten carbide-tipped (TCT) hole saw with a 133 mm cutting diameter and a 5/8" arbor connection designed for use with compatible drills. It is intended to cut precise circular openings in materials that match TCT blade capabilities, providing a stable connection to standard arbors for straightforward attachment and removal. The tool is suitable for tasks that require clean, repeatable holes, such as installing pipes, cables, door hardware, and recessed fixtures.
The TCT teeth provide enhanced wear resistance compared with high-speed steel blades, improving cutting life when used on recommended materials. The 133 mm diameter delivers a large, consistent opening in one pass, while the standard 5/8" arbor interface ensures compatibility with many common drill arbors and adaptors. The construction supports steady cutting action and easier centring when used with an appropriate pilot bit.
Select a drill and arbor compatible with the 5/8" connection and install an appropriate pilot bit if required for centring. Mark the centre of the intended hole and secure the workpiece to prevent movement. Fit the hole saw onto the arbor, tighten according to the arbor manufacturer's instructions, and set the drill to a steady speed suitable for the material being cut. Apply moderate, consistent pressure and allow the TCT teeth to cut without forcing; withdraw periodically to clear chips and reduce heat build-up. After cutting, remove the hole saw from the arbor and clear debris from the teeth before storage.
Use cutting fluid or reduced speed when working with metal to extend blade life. For masonry, tile, or other materials not recommended for TCT blades, choose a purpose-specific hole saw. Always follow drill and arbor manufacturer safety guidelines, wear appropriate protective equipment, and secure the material before cutting.
