Cable ties Dedra 11C48201 nylon 200 mm x 4.8 mm, pack of 25
Dedra 11C48201 nylon cable ties are 200 mm long and 4.8 mm wide, supplied in a pack of 25. Constructed from durable nylon with a self-locking head, these cable ties are intended for bundling and securing cables, hoses, pipes and other items in home, workshop or small installation projects. The black finish provides a discreet appearance for wiring runs and general fastenings.
The nylon construction gives a balance of flexibility and tensile strength while remaining lightweight. The self-locking mechanism enables quick one-handed installation and holds bundled items securely without slipping. Standard 200 mm length and 4.8 mm width make these ties suitable for common cable management tasks and light-duty fastening. Supplied in a pack of 25, the set is convenient for small projects and maintenance work.
These nylon cable ties are designed for general-purpose and light- to medium-duty applications. They are not intended for permanently exposed outdoor use in harsh UV or extreme temperature conditions unless additional UV-stabilised or weatherproof materials are specified. For very heavy loads, high-temperature environments, or critical safety applications, specialised fasteners with higher rated tensile strength should be selected.
Thread the tail of the cable tie through the self-locking head and pull until the desired tension is reached around the bundle. For neat results, arrange cables parallel and remove excess tail by cutting close to the head with appropriate cutting tools. Use pliers or a tensioning tool if consistent tension is required across multiple ties. Take care not to over-tighten to avoid damaging cable insulation or soft materials.
Use these cable ties for indoor cable management, temporary assembly tasks and light fastening jobs. For long-term outdoor installations or where chemical resistance and high heat tolerance are required, choose ties specified for those conditions. When cutting excess tails, use flush cutters to avoid sharp edges that could catch on clothing or components.
