DEDRA 11U123 padlock is a single-piece security lock designed for general-purpose use on gates, lockers, toolboxes and storage units. The padlock features a durable body and a hardened shackle to provide basic theft deterrence and reliable closure for everyday applications. Supplied as one unit per pack, this padlock is suitable where a compact, easy-to-operate locking device is required.
The padlock offers a compact design with a corrosion-resistant body construction that helps maintain function in indoor and sheltered outdoor environments. Its hardened shackle improves cut resistance compared with non-hardened alternatives, while a straightforward locking mechanism enables quick single-handed operation. The product is supplied individually, simplifying inventory and replacement.
Fit the shackle through the hasp or staple on the item to be secured and insert the shackle into the padlock body until it locks. If the padlock uses a key mechanism, turn the key to open and remove the shackle. For combination variants, align the combination and release the shackle according to the combination instructions. Keep keys or combination codes stored separately from the secured item to prevent accidental lockouts. Regularly inspect the locking mechanism and shackle for wear, corrosion or damage.
For extended service life, avoid prolonged exposure to direct weather or salt air; apply a light lubricant to the shackle and lock cylinder periodically and replace the padlock if signs of severe corrosion or mechanical wear appear.
