Rivets Dedra 3.2x6 mm aluminium, blind rivets, pack of 50
Dedra aluminium blind rivets 3.2x6 mm, pack of 50 are closed-end blind rivets designed to create permanent mechanical joints in thin metals, aluminium sheets and other sheet materials when access is available from one side only. These rivets work with hand rivet tools compatible with 3.2 mm mandrels and are intended for light-duty fastening tasks such as panel assembly, bracket fixing and small repairs where a neat, low-profile finish is required.
These Dedra aluminium blind rivets offer corrosion-resistant aluminium construction and a closed-end design that helps seal the joint and prevent moisture ingress. Supplied in a pack of 50, they provide a consistent diameter and length for predictable pull and clamping performance. Their 3.2x6 mm size gives a compact head and short grip range suitable for thin materials while remaining easy to set with standard hand riveters.
These rivets are intended for light-duty applications and thin materials; they are not suitable for structural or heavy-load joints. The short 6 mm length limits them to thin stacks of material—thicker assemblies will require longer rivets or alternative fasteners. They also require access from one side only and a compatible hand rivet tool with a 3.2 mm mandrel.
Select rivets that match the combined thickness of the materials to be joined. Drill or align a 3.2 mm hole through the workpieces, insert the rivet from the accessible side, and fit a hand rivet tool with a 3.2 mm mandrel. Operate the riveter until the mandrel snaps and the rivet body has formed a secure blind head on the far side. Remove the spent mandrel and check the joint for tightness and correct set.
Use these rivets with proper eye protection and a rivet tool in good condition. For best results, ensure holes are clean and free of burrs and select rivet placement that avoids overstressing thin edges. For thicker or higher-load joints, choose a rivet with greater length or a different material.
