Dedra flap diamond grinding wheel H12L0200 (125 x 22.2 mm, grit 200) is designed for surface grinding and finishing of hard materials. The wheel features diamond abrasive on overlapping cloth flaps arranged around a rigid backing to deliver controlled material removal, consistent surface texture and extended life when used with compatible angle grinders. It is suitable for edge dressing, deburring and smoothing of stone, ceramics and hardened metals where a medium-fine grit finish is required.
The flap diamond construction provides uniform wear and sustained cutting action, reducing the need for frequent wheel changes. The 125 mm diameter and 22.2 mm bore size ensure compatibility with many standard angle grinders, while the grit 200 surface balances material removal rate and surface refinement. The layered flap design improves heat dissipation and helps maintain shape during extended use, resulting in reliable finishing performance on tough substrates.
Install the wheel on a compatible angle grinder following the grinder manufacturer’s instructions and ensuring the correct mounting direction. Operate the grinder at the recommended speed for the wheel and the work material, maintaining steady, even passes to achieve a uniform finish. Apply moderate pressure, allowing the diamond abrasive to do the cutting; avoid excessive force that can cause uneven wear or overheating. Periodically inspect the wheel for wear and replace it when abrasive effectiveness declines or damage is visible.
Use appropriate personal protective equipment including eye protection, hearing protection and dust mask or respirator when working with stone, ceramics or metals. For best results on brittle materials, perform test passes on a scrap piece to adjust pressure and speed. Keep the workpiece supported and secure to prevent vibration and ensure even contact between the wheel and the surface.
