How to use

Select the coarse steel wool for tasks requiring aggressive material removal. For hand use, hold a small portion of the bundle and move it across the surface with consistent pressure following the grain or contour of the object. For extensive work, use appropriate tools or holders designed to accept steel wool. Apply dry for scraping and rust removal; for sanding or polishing, a light application of lubricant such as mineral oil or a compatible solvent may be used to reduce clogging. After finishing, remove residual fibres and wipe the surface clean to prevent further corrosion.

Usage recommendations

Wear protective gloves and eye protection during use to avoid cuts and airborne particles. Do not use on soft or easily scratched finishes where coarse abrasion is not acceptable.
