Sandpaper mesh sheet Dedra 105x280 mm grit 60 pack of 50 (1540-060)
Dedra mesh sandpaper sheets measure 105×280 mm and are supplied in a pack of 50 with grit 60. These open-weave abrasive sheets are designed for use with compatible sanding tools and vacuum-backed sanders to reduce clogging and improve dust extraction. They are intended for medium stock removal, surface leveling and preparing wood, painted surfaces and plaster prior to finishing.
The open-mesh construction allows dust to pass through the abrasive, which helps maintain cutting performance and extends working time compared with closed-paper abrasives. Grit 60 provides relatively aggressive cutting suitable for removing material and smoothing uneven surfaces. The consistent sheet dimensions fit common hand and machine sanding holders designed for 105×280 mm media, and the pack quantity reduces downtime by keeping a ready supply of replacement sheets.
These grit 60 mesh sheets are not intended for fine finishing or polishing tasks that require higher grits. Because they are open-weave, they may wear faster than closed-back, heavy-duty abrasive sheets when used on very abrasive or hard materials. They also require a sander or holder compatible with 105×280 mm sheets and dust extraction to achieve the best performance.
Attach a mesh sheet to a compatible hand sanding frame or machine holder sized for 105×280 mm media. If available, connect the sander to a vacuum or dust-extraction system to utilise the open-weave design and reduce clogging. Apply steady, even pressure and move along the grain on wood or follow broad, overlapping passes on plaster and painted surfaces. Replace sheets when cutting performance decreases or the abrasive becomes clogged or damaged.
Use these Dedra 105×280 mm grit 60 mesh sheets for initial material removal and surface levelling. Combine with progressive finer grits after the coarse stage to achieve a smoother finish, and employ dust extraction to prolong abrasive life and keep the work area cleaner.
