Dedra Socket Bit Torx 1/2" T70 L100 mm is a dedicated socket bit designed for use with a 1/2" square drive. The T70 Torx profile provides an accurate fit for matching fasteners, while the 100 mm length gives extended reach for recessed or hard-to-access bolts. The tool is compatible with hand and power ratchets that accept 1/2" sockets and is intended for tasks in automotive repair, machinery maintenance and general assembly where secure torque transfer and reach are required.
The Torx T70 profile ensures stable engagement with corresponding fasteners, reducing cam-out and wear on fastener heads. Constructed for use with a 1/2" drive, the bit delivers reliable torque transfer suitable for medium- to high-torque applications. The 100 mm overall length increases accessibility to deep-set fasteners without the need to remove surrounding components. The single-piece socket-bit format simplifies attachment to standard ratchets and impact tools designed for 1/2" drive interfaces.
Select a compatible 1/2" drive ratchet or power tool and securely attach the socket bit to the square drive. Align the T70 tip with the matching Torx fastener and apply steady torque while keeping the bit engaged to avoid slippage. For deep or recessed fasteners, use the full 100 mm length to reach the fastener head; when using power tools, control speed and torque settings appropriate to the fastener and material to prevent damage.
Inspect the Torx tip and the fastener head before use; replace the socket bit if the profile shows significant wear or rounding. Use appropriate hand protection and follow tool manufacturer guidelines when operating power ratchets or impact drivers. Store the socket bit in a dry, organized tool set to maintain condition and ensure proper fit on subsequent jobs.
