Abrasive Sanding Discs Dedra 225 mm Ø, Grit 80, Hook-and-Loop, Set of 5
Abrasive Sanding Discs Dedra 225 mm Ø, Grit 80, Hook-and-Loop, Set of 5
Set of five Dedra 225 mm abrasive sanding discs with grit 80 and hook-and-loop backing for fast attachment to compatible 225 mm orbital or disc sanding machines. These medium-coarse abrasive discs are designed for material removal, surface leveling and preparation on wood, painted surfaces and metal. An anti-clogging surface treatment reduces loading during use and helps extend the effective abrasive life of each disc.
The hook-and-loop fastening allows quick replacement and secure fit on 225 mm sanding pads. Grit 80 offers a balance between aggressive stock removal and controlled surface finish, suitable for flattening uneven surfaces and removing old coatings. The anti-clogging surface reduces dust build-up and maintains cutting efficiency for longer, while the uniform abrasive coating promotes consistent performance across the full disc diameter.
Attach a disc to the sanding machine pad using the hook-and-loop backing, ensuring alignment and a flat fit before powering on. Start sanding with moderate pressure and move the sander in overlapping passes to achieve even material removal. Monitor the disc for wear or clogged areas and replace when abrasive performance declines or the backing is damaged. Use appropriate speed and feed rates for the workpiece material to avoid excessive heat or gouging.
For best results, use suitable personal protective equipment such as dust masks, eye protection and hearing protection. Combine with a dust extraction system when working on painted surfaces or metals. Test on a hidden area to confirm desired finish and adjust sanding technique or abrasive progression as needed.
