DEDRA F70RC120 manual sanding supply 1 pc(s)
DEDRA F70RC120 manual sanding supply is a single-roll abrasive cloth designed for manual sanding and finishing tasks. The product comes as one 3 m length roll with a width of 115 mm and a grit of 120, manufactured for general-purpose surface preparation and smoothing of wood, painted surfaces, and light metal burr removal.
The abrasive cloth roll offers a continuous length that reduces waste from pre-cut sheets and allows users to cut custom lengths for specific tasks. A 120 grit provides a balanced level of abrasion suitable for medium sanding, blending, and preparing surfaces for primer or paint. The 115 mm width fits a range of sanding tools and hand-sanding needs while the roll format is convenient for workshops and on-site use.
This 120-grit abrasive is not intended for heavy material removal or aggressive stock removal; for coarse stripping tasks, a lower grit number (coarser) would be more appropriate. It may also be less effective on very hard metal surfaces or when precise surface planing is required with power tools designed for wider belts.
Cut the required length from the roll and attach it to a hand sanding block or suitable sanding tool. For manual sanding, apply even pressure and move along the grain on wood surfaces to avoid scratches. When sanding painted or lacquered surfaces, use light, consistent strokes and check the surface frequently. Replace with a finer grit for final smoothing or between coats. Dispose of used abrasive material according to local waste regulations.
For best results, start with the 120 grit to remove minor imperfections and then progress to finer grits for finishing. Keep a light, even pressure and sand with the grain on wood. When working on metal, combine with appropriate cleaning and protection to prevent re-corrosion.
