Protective Painter's Paper Deka TAŚMA RYŻOWA Impregnated 38 mm × 50 m
Impregnated painter's rice paper tape by Deka, 38 mm × 50 m, is designed for masking and surface protection during interior painting, finishing and renovation tasks. The product combines a thin rice paper carrier with a water-resistant impregnation to reduce moisture absorption and minimize paint bleed-through along edges and joints. It is intended for temporarily protecting surfaces, creating clean paint lines and covering narrow gaps during application of paints, lacquers and other decorative coatings.
The impregnated rice paper construction enhances resistance to water and paint, which helps maintain adhesive performance and prevents tearing when wet. The tape width of 38 mm is suited to precise masking of trims and joints while the 50 m roll length offers extended coverage for multiple tasks without frequent replacement. Its paper surface allows easy cutting and conforms to slightly irregular surfaces for reliable edge protection. The adhesive is formulated to provide adequate hold while allowing removal without leaving significant residue on most interior surfaces when removed within the intended time frame.
Ensure the surface to be masked is clean, dry and free of dust or grease. Measure and cut the required length of tape, then press it firmly along the edge or joint to be protected, smoothing out any air pockets or wrinkles. For best results align the tape carefully to create a straight paint line; overlap edges if wrapping around corners. After painting, remove the tape once the paint is touch-dry but not fully cured to reduce the risk of peeling; pull back at a low angle and steadily to minimize residue and surface damage.
Store the roll in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight. Test adhesion on a small inconspicuous area if using on sensitive surfaces or on recently painted substrates. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure and extended adhesion periods beyond manufacturer guidance to reduce the risk of adhesive residue or surface damage.
