USB-C Mobile Adapter Dock Dell DA300 – wired USB 3.2 Gen 2, Gigabit Ethernet, 4K video, black
The Dell USB-C Mobile Adapter DA300 is a compact 6‑in‑1 wired USB‑C adapter designed to connect laptops and ultrabooks to monitors, wired networks and USB peripherals. It provides video output up to 3840×2160, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB data connectivity via a single USB‑C host connection in a small, portable form factor.
The adapter combines HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, Gigabit Ethernet, USB‑C and USB‑A ports in one round, pocketable unit, enabling video, network and data connections without multiple dongles. It supports up to 4K at 60Hz on compatible hosts and offers SuperSpeed USB data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps when connected to a suitable USB‑C or Thunderbolt port. The retractable cable and compact design simplify storage and transport.
Only one video output can be used at a time, so the adapter is not suitable for driving multiple independent displays simultaneously from a single connection. Also, full 4K at 60Hz and 10 Gbps USB speeds require a host port that supports DisplayPort Alt‑Mode 1.3 (or higher) and sufficient USB‑C/Thunderbolt power and bandwidth; on earlier or lower‑power USB‑C ports, video may be limited to 4K at 30Hz and USB data rates may be restricted to USB2.0 speeds.
Plug the adapter into a USB‑C port on your laptop. Then connect a monitor or projector using HDMI, DisplayPort or VGA, and plug a network cable into the RJ‑45 port for wired connectivity. Attach USB peripherals to the USB‑C or USB‑A downstream ports as needed. The adapter is plug‑and‑play on supported operating systems; no external driver installation is generally required. If you need advanced Dell Business features (PXE Boot, Wake‑On‑LAN, MAC address pass‑through), pair the adapter with compatible Dell systems.
For best results, connect the DA300 to a USB‑C or Thunderbolt port on a laptop that explicitly supports DisplayPort Alt‑Mode 1.3+ and higher power/bandwidth. Use HDMI or DisplayPort when you need 4K@60Hz, and connect peripherals to the downstream USB‑C/USB‑A ports according to the host's supported USB speed.
