Heat shrink tube DeLOCK 19963
Heat shrink tube DeLOCK 19963 is a black polyolefin sleeve designed to insulate and protect cables, wires and electrical connections. When heated, the tube contracts to form a close-fitting covering; an inner adhesive layer bonds to the cable to provide a sealed finish. The product comes in a practical dispenser box that keeps the tubing clean, allows controlled unrolling and enables individual cutting for convenient use in workshops, industry or general cable maintenance.
The polyolefin construction gives reliable electrical insulation and abrasion resistance while the inner adhesive ensures a secure, moisture-resistant seal after shrinking. The dispenser box protects the tubing from dirt and dust and provides easy, orderly storage and one-handed dispensing for precise cutting.
Slide an appropriately sized section of the heat shrink tube over the cable or joint before making the connection. Apply heat evenly (for example with a heat gun) until the tube contracts and the adhesive on the inner wall flows and bonds to the cable surface. Allow the assembly to cool so the adhesive sets and the sleeve forms a tight, sealed fit.
Choose a tube diameter that provides sufficient overlap on the cable before shrinking. Apply heat uniformly to avoid overheating or uneven shrinkage. For outdoor or moisture-prone applications ensure full adhesive activation for reliable sealing.
