The DeLOCK heat shrink tube assortment box contains 116 black dual-wall polyolefin tubes with internal adhesive, designed to insulate, protect and provide strain relief for cables, wires and electrical tubing. Available in two shrink ratios (3:1 and 4:1) and six diameters, the sleeves shrink under heat to form a tight, moisture-resistant seal that protects against weather and mechanical damage. Place the appropriate diameter tube over the cable or splice. Apply heat evenly with a hot air gun or other suitable heat source until the tube shrinks and the inner adhesive flows to form a tight seal. For 3:1 tubes the sleeve shrinks to approximately one third of its original diameter; for 4:1 tubes it shrinks to approximately one quarter. Allow the assembly to cool so the adhesive cures and the sleeve bonds to the cable.
