Internal M.2 Adapter InLine 76660S PCIe Male 1 Gbit/s
Internal M.2 Adapter InLine 76660S PCIe Male 1 Gbit/s
The InLine 76660S Internal M.2 Adapter by DELock adds an internal NVMe M.2 (Key M) slot to a desktop PC via a PCIe host interface. Designed for compact high-performance storage, the adapter supports M.2 module lengths 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 and draws power directly from the PCIe bus at 3.3 V. The PCIe 3.0 x1 connection provides up to approximately 1 Gbit/s effective bandwidth and the card supports automatic lane detection on boot. An onboard LED indicates read/write activity. Native OS support eliminates the need for additional drivers on supported Windows and Linux systems.
The adapter enables installation of NVMe SSDs in systems with an available PCIe slot (x1, x4, x8 or x16) without the need for extra drivers. Automatic lane detection simplifies integration across different slot widths while the PCIe-supplied 3.3 V power and onboard LED provide a straightforward hardware solution for additional internal storage. The compact PCIe board (95 mm x 52 mm) supports multiple module sizes, making it compatible with a wide range of M.2 NVMe SSDs.
Install the InLine 76660S into an available PCIe slot (x1, x4, x8 or x16) on a compatible motherboard. Mount an NVMe M.2 SSD (Key M) in the M.2 slot and secure it with the supplied screws and heat conduction pad as needed. The SSD receives power from the PCIe bus (3.3 V). Connect the low-profile bracket if required for your chassis. On supported Windows and Linux systems, the adapter is recognized natively, so no additional driver installation is necessary. The onboard LED displays read/write activity during operation.
Ensure the motherboard supports PCIe 3.0 or higher for optimal throughput and verify that the PC chassis has the necessary clearance for the adapter and chosen M.2 module length. Use the included heat conduction pad for long-term heavy write workloads to assist thermal transfer from the SSD to the bracket or board. When installing, power down the PC and follow ESD precautions to protect the NVMe SSD and adapter.
